It is just so hard to understand how after 12
years Abby’s owners could take her to a shelter because they
have no time to care for her. She arrived badly matted and flea
infested but she’s been shaved and bathed and feels sooo much
better. Her caregivers say she is just the sweetest girl and
smart too. Abby is very easy to care for and enjoys naptime.
Like most cockers at this age, she is a bit deaf, but otherwise
very healthy. There are many benefits to adopting senior dogs –
they are housebroken, calm, enjoy short walks, and with winter
coming, they’re wonderful company as they snooze next to your
easy chair. Abby is used to living in a home – she deserves to
live the rest of her life with people who will appreciate her
gently nature.
