Bailey

Bailey’s owner loves him very much but because of her own health issues she can no longer care for him. She describes four-year old Bailey as affectionate and playful. He loves his favorite toys and always keeps them nearby. He likes to play catch. He enjoys having his ears scratched and especially likes “baby talk.” He is housebroken and crate trained and he currently lives with another dog. Bailey’s vet says that despite his seasonal allergies “he’s an exceptionally nice cocker, adorable.” Bailey has been diagnosed with inhalant allergies but his vet said she’s “seen a lot worse.”  His skin problems occur mostly in summer and fall. His coat needs to be kept short and he should be bathed with Maleseb shampoo once or twice a week during allergy season. He ears also need regular cleaning. Bailey’s owners said she’s noticed an improvement since he was switched to Purina’s Sensitive System dog food. Bailey’s groomer says she a very sweet boy and easy to groom. This cocker boy will require somewhat more care than the average dog but his winning personality and disposition more than make up for the attention he needs to stay comfortable and enjoy life.
