Freckles is a very lucky cocker – three weeks ago he was attacked by a much larger dog but thanks to quick thinking on the part of several adults he was freed and rushed to an emergency vet hospital. He had several deep puncture wounds but thankfully he responded very well to immediate treatment, healed quickly, and his stitches have been removed. This very sweet six year old boy doesn’t appear to have suffered any emotional damage from this trauma. He’s a happy, calm dog who likes to chase his ball. Freckles is generally a quiet cocker but when he does bark he sounds like a duck. He is used to being in a home with someone around a lot and like all cockers, follows his foster mom everywhere. Freckles does not enjoy the company of cats, other than that he’s a perfect little cocker.
