Sparky
is approx. 7 years old and has very suddenly developed multiple
(8) mammary gland tumors. He is in desperate need of removal of
these tumors so that they may be sent out for biopsy to determine
if they are malignant or benign. Sparky has a loving, outgoing
personality and is a sweet, happy, boy. He always seems to be
chuckling to himself about something he must think is very funny!
Sparky was a stray found
wandering in the bitter cold. He was matted to the skin; his toe
nails were over an inch long; he had scabbing, crusty patches on
his belly and severe ear infections. His ears were so bad that it
was initially thought that he would near ear ablations but so far,
with regular cleaning, he is beating the odds!
Despite
his very neglected condition, he was immediately playful with his
new toys and he thoroughly enjoyed his first bath in many months.
His favorite thing is to curl up on the couch to take a nap and of
course, eat! Sparky has a very relaxed personality and is just a
lovable, goofy, cuddly boy that always wants to please you.
Sparky once again needs our
help and his surgery will cost $1200. We need to raise these funds
quickly because the veterinarian wants to get him into surgery
right away before these tumors grow any larger.
