Lucky
My name is Lucky and I now live
in Maine with my adoptive parents, Pete and Sonya. They adopted
me on December 22, 2007 and it was love at first sight. They
are always telling me that Lucky is a perfect name for me,
because they feel so lucky that I came into their lives! We
are having a great time as a family. We like to go for walks
together at the beach and around the neighborhood. We even like
to watch American Idol together. My favorite thing to do though
is to hang out with my best friend, which is my dad. He takes
me for lots of car rides and I even get to go to different job
sites with him. After busy days with my dad, I am tired and get
to sleep in the same room with my parents in my very own bed.
My parents tell me that their favorite thing that I do is wiggle
all over when they come home even if they are only gone for a
few minutes. I cannot help it; I am always just so happy to see
them. I know they are always happy to see me, because they are
always hugging me, rubbing my belly, and telling me how much
they love me. Life is really good for me now and it all
started with Cocker Spaniel Rescue of New England. Thank you
for bringing us together; it is the best thing that has
happened to all of us!
